Pressing deadlines, demanding children, financial concerns, bereavement, and moving to a new house can all trigger feelings of stress and other emotions such as depression and anxiety.

Dealing with stress is individual to each person and what might work for one person may not work for someone else. If you are feeling like you can’t cope, please contact us.

We’re supporting Stress Awareness Month and making information and support available to anyone that might need it,  please remember help is available to you and you are never alone.

Stress can affect people in different ways:

  • Physical such as headaches, muscle pain or stomach problems
  • Mental such as difficulty concentrating and making decisions or being forgetful
  • Changes in behaviour such as irritability, changes to your sleeping pattern, over or under eating or avoiding certain places or people

The NHS provides information to help you identify stress and how to deal with it. For more information go to the NHS website.

At the moment the Coronavirus outbreak has created an uncertain environment that is worrying and stressful. Being mindful about the way you are feeling and the impact that this current situation is having on you and your loved ones is really important.

If you are worried about the current situation please look at the information on our Coronavirus webpage.
