We put residents at the heart of what we do.

We want to ensure our residents are involved in creating change and improving West Kent.

You can make a genuine difference and there are many ways you can get involved.

We currently have an opportunity for residents to share their experiences, have their voice heard and help influence decisions at the highest levels of West Kent by becoming a Resident Board Member. The role includes an annual fee of £7,878, plus reasonable expenses.

Louise Cannon, a member of our Resident Communications Group, says:

As a West Kent resident of almost 20 years, becoming involved in the Resident Communications Group has given me a real insight into how West Kent strives to ensure that every resident’s voice is heard. Volunteering has not only given me valuable skills and experience that look great on my CV, but also the confidence to pursue a career-change I once thought had passed me by. I would recommend anyone to get involved with the various Resident Involvement opportunities West Kent provides. Not only will you meet new people and get to know some of the hardworking staff at West Kent, but you’ll also gain experience money can’t buy.
