We are proud to have a range of over 55 schemes across Kent that provide tailored homes and support for our residents. Earlier this month colleagues, partners and residents came together at Queens Court in Edenbridge to celebrate the completion of building works and the difference it has made. Queens Court is an independent living scheme where residents live in their own flat within a friendly community environment, and also have access to communal facilities like a communal lounge and kitchen.

Residents and guests were able to celebrate over refreshments, play games and were entertained by a performance from the local primary school choir.

Brian Griggs, Scheme Manger  at Queens Court said, “The new work looks great, residents are really proud of where they live and  are using the new lounge area more and also enjoying the weekly activities organised by Penny Matthews, Activity and Engagement Co-ordinator at West Kent.”

It was great to hear from residents about how proud they feel to live at Queens Court, residents are enjoying the new lounge area with weekly activities, some which are planned amongst themselves!

The event was a roaring success, and we hope our residents continue to love the new space. See some more images from the day below.
