We have five new extra care schemes built under The Kent Excellent Homes for All (KEHFA) project in partnership with Kent County Council (KCC) and Galliford Try as part of a private finance initiative. These schemes are located in Dartford, Dover, Hawkhurst, Ramsgate and Tenterden.
A further two extra care schemes, not part of this project, are available in Medway and Swanley.
Our KEHFA extra care schemes and our accommodation in Medway and Swanley offer the additional benefits of a care team on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The care team will visit you to discuss your care needs and care plan. They will also respond to emergency situations and provide a waking night emergency response service, giving you peace of mind if you need emergency help during the night. To apply for them you must live in the borough, or have a local connection. You must join the local housing register for the borough, as well as having your care need assessed by social services.
