We are thrilled to share that Sean Richards, our Community Safety Manager, has been awarded Highly Commended in the Housing Professional Award category at this year’s Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards.

Sean leads our community safety team, overseeing all tenancy fraud, anti-social behaviour (ASB) and domestic abuse cases to ensure our residents and local communities are safe and supported.

Over the last year, Sean has achieved many highlights, including:

  • Introducing our first tenancy fraud policy
  • Leading several tenancy fraud investigations, which resulted in five family homes being returned to us
  • Helping to re-house 10 families dealing with domestic abuse
  • Working with Kent Police to secure two closure orders at properties causing ASB in the last 12 months.

The safety of our residents and communities is at the centre of all that we do; we want to build safe and successful communities.

This well-deserved recognition reflects Sean’s outstanding commitment to supporting our residents and building safer communities across Kent.

Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work, Sean!
