Before temperatures start to drop, now is a good time to check your heating is working properly.

Every year, we see an increase in heating repair requests when the cold weather arrives. Testing your heating now means you can spot any problems early and let us know before you really need it.

Turn on and test

You don't need to wait for a cold day. Turn your heating on and check that:

  • your heating comes on as expected

  • your radiators and heaters are warming up

  • your thermostat and controls are working

  • there are no unusual noises or warning messages

  • you have hot water as normal.

Let your heating run long enough to make sure everything is working as it should.

Found a problem? Let us know

If you've tested your heating and something doesn't seem right, please get in touch.

Even if you're not ready to have the heating on every day yet, a quick check now could save you an uncomfortable wait when the temperature drops.
