The resident scrutiny panel has had a busy start to 2023 and has launched a new survey for residents to share their views.

The panel are currently looking into how we listen to our residents’ views and opinions. The survey launched in mid January and will run until Sunday, 5 February. Post-survey there will also be meetings to give residents the opportunity to talk about the results in more detail. The insight from the survey will be used to help shape future services.

Linda, Review Lead from the Scrutiny Panel said;
‘It was important that we opened the lines of communication between West Kent and residents as part of this review. We want to hear from as many residents as possible to find out if they feel West Kent really listens to them and what they feel the barriers are to communicating with West Kent. Once we have the survey results in we will also meet with residents to discuss the issues and all their feedback will inform our final report and set of recommendations to West Kent.”

The panel meet regularly to look at our performance information and recommend ways for us to improve. They are independent but well-supported by our resident involvement team.
