Woodland Place is the newly branded scheme in Allington, Maidstone, and sits on the land known as Castor Park. The new development is currently in construction and is set to provide over 100 new homes with a mix of social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership tenures. The site is being developed by West Kent’s contracting partner, Penenden Heath Developments.

The first set of new homes is entering the final stages of construction, with the handover of an initial 12 homes being prepared for the end of June 2025. This is one of West Kent’s largest developments in its 35 years and represents a milestone under the growth and regeneration strategy.

Anabel Palmer, Executive Director of Property Development and Partnerships, said; “We are extremely proud of our Woodland Place development and the community and homes it will provide to our new residents and customers. The 106 new homes demonstrate our commitment to continuing to provide people with places to live and space to grow. We are aware of the housing crisis across Kent and nationally and Woodland Place forms part of our wider strategy to develop and regenerate new and existing homes for residents.”
