After almost 30 years in the housing sector, Tracy Allison, the Chief Executive at West Kent Housing Association, has announced that she will be retiring from her role in early 2026.  

Tracy comments: "I feel privileged to have played a role in West Kent’s success and to have worked with such a highly regarded team. It’s a good time to find my successor as we mark our 35th year and launch our new strategic plan."

During her tenure they have delivered the largest programme of new homes and formed lasting strategic partnerships."

 

A recruitment process to find her successor will begin in April.

 

Mrs Allison has been a senior figure in the housing sector for almost 30 years. Prior to West Kent, which owns and manages 8,500 homes across Kent, she was Deputy CEO at the Hyde Housing Group. Tracy is currently on the board at First Garden Cities Homes, having previously held roles with both Joseph Rowntree Foundation and St Mungo’s the homeless charity.

West Kent Housing Association announces CEO successor

Following the announcement in April that our CEO Tracy Allison was planning to retire we’re pleased to share that Ian Joynson has been appointed as the next Chief Executive of West Kent Housing Association, joining in early 2026.
