Work is continuing at Mills Crescent in Seal, where 13 new affordable homes for rent are being delivered to help meet local housing need.

The development is a rural exception site, meaning it has been designed to provide affordable homes for local people who might otherwise struggle to remain in the communities where they have family, work and local connections.

Recently, our Development Manager, Onome, visited the site to see how work is progressing.

Once complete, all 13 homes will achieve EPC A rating and are being built using modern methods of construction by our development partners, Jenner Construction. This will help ensure the homes are energy efficient, sustainable and designed to meet the needs of future residents.

Developments like Mills Crescent play an important role in supporting strong and sustainable communities, helping more people access affordable housing close to the people, places and support networks that matter most to them.
