We're pleased to share the details of our new board member appointments.

These appointments took effect after the recent September Annual General Meeting. Interviews were with the Board and involved West Kent staff and residents.

Tracy Allison, Chief Executive at West Kent says: “I am delighted to announce our new non executive directors Jo Hills and Mark Evers, who joined our Board in September. Together they bring a wealth of experience and insight which will be invaluable as we continue to grow and deliver even greater impact for our customers and communities. We received lots of interest in these roles and were very pleased with the calibre of applications. Many thanks to GatenbySanderson for supporting with this."

Jo Hills has been appointed as a Board Member with an asset management and sustainability interest.

Jo is an experienced executive and non executive director in strategic asset management and sustainability. She is a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Management Institute, and has held director roles across public, private and voluntary sector organisations, including Deloitte and Raven Housing Trust. Jo is currently a non executive director at Wandle Housing Association and is Chair of the Board at 2gether, the facilities subsidiary for East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust.

Jo said: "Throughout my career, I’ve focused on supporting organisations to optimise the way they manage their buildings and deliver their services to get the best possible outcomes for the people and communities they serve. I’m impressed with West Kent’s commitment to service improvement and look forward to supporting the organisation to deliver on its ambitions."

Mark Evers has been appointed as a Board Member with a customer insight and customer experience interest.

Mark is a seasoned customer experience director and currently serves as Chief Customer Officer at Transport for London (TfL), overseeing the research and insight team, customer strategy development, and customer experience improvements on public transport. Mark said: "I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact that focussed investment and improved services can have on local communities, and I believe there’s a great opportunity to build on the brilliant services that West Kent already delivers to its customers.
