Tonight lots of children will put on their best fancy dress costume in the hopes of getting some sweet treats from their neighbours and friends!

But, remember that the nights are now dark earlier and Halloween isn't always enjoyable for some. Here are Kent Police's top tips for safe and fun trick or treating this evening:

  • Never let young children go trick or treating on their own
  • Only visit people known to your family
  • Don't use flour or eggs
  • Don't visit houses with a ‘no trick or treat’ sign
  • Don't travel alone
  • Never go into the home of someone you don't know.

Following the announcement in April that our CEO Tracy Allison was planning to retire we’re pleased to share that Ian Joynson has been appointed as the next Chief Executive of West Kent Housing Association, joining in early 2026.
