A Parliamentary General Election has been called and will be held on Thursday 4 July 2024. You can find out in which Parliamentary Constituency you live using the postcode search on the Electoral Commission website.

Register to vote

The deadline for registering to vote at the General Election on Thursday 4 July is midnight on Tuesday 18 June 2024.

If you register after the deadline you will not be eligible to vote on Thursday 4 July 2024.

What to do if you have recently moved

If you have recently moved and need to register at a new address, or update the address you are currently registered at, you will need to complete a new registration.

Before you start

To register, you will need to provide your:

  • National Insurance number (but you can still register if you do not have one)
  • Date of birth
