We recently consulted with residents to create a new rent campaign, replacing our old 'Your rent, your responsibility' tagline.

The focus now is on residents talking to us, we can give support and advice to help their situation and prevent action being taken against their tenancy; to stop 'tough times from getting tougher'.

We also have six other elements to the campaign:

  • Pay what you can
  • Make sure you claim
  • Use Universal Credit advances wisely
  • Talk to us if you're feeling overwhelmed
  • Lost your job? We can help

Residents also helped to review the letters that are sent when someone is in rent arrears, so they feel more encouraged to talk to us and know what we can do to help them.

One resident who took part in the consultation said: "What you’re doing is brilliant, you’re keeping residents’ fears at bay. It really shows you're there for people and you care."

You can see the full campaign here.
