Resident Influence and Impact Strategy
This strategy will ensure all residents have the opportunity to influence and shape the design, delivery and impact of our services, in ways that recognise and value difference so their voice is heard.
We will build on the strong foundations of the previous Resident Engagement Strategy, continuing to offer a range of involvement opportunities that are proven to work, while also creating new ways for residents to get involved.
West Kent is committed to putting the customer voice at the heart of decision making. We will strengthen opportunities for residents to scrutinise services, co-design solutions and influence key decisions, supported by well-established groups such as the Scrutiny Panel and co-production groups.
This strategy also focuses on increasing diversity and accessibility. We want our involved residents to reflect the communities we serve, and we will actively seek out the voices we are not currently hearing, tailoring our approach to meet individual needs and reduce barriers to involvement.
We will ensure residents can see the difference their involvement makes by clearly demonstrating the impact of their feedback and sharing outcomes in accessible ways.
We will continue to develop flexible, inclusive engagement opportunities across a range of channels, including digital, face-to-face and informal feedback routes, so all residents can participate in a way that suits them.
