We have welcomed new director Heather Brightwell, replacing Will Campbell-Wroe as Communities Director who left in December 2018.

Heather started work at West Kent in 2005 in a two-week temporary position, but after various temporary positions around the business, found the right fit in the communities team as an Administrative Assistant, working her way up to the Head of Communities post in 2011.

As the Communities Director, Heather is responsible for the projects and services that support strong, cohesive and inclusive communities. She aims to increase opportunities and support local communities throughout Kent and Medway.

Frank Czarnowski, West Kent’s Chief Executive said, "I am delighted Heather has been appointed as our new Communities Director. I’m really looking forward to working with her to build on the fantastic work that the communities team already does.”
