This week is due to be very cold, with snowy weather and icy conditions.

Remember, it's really important that you stay warm - especially if you're elderly, have health conditions or have young children living with you.

Here are a few top tips on how you can stay warm this week:

  • Keep your heating on low throughout the day. Keep the doors of unheated rooms open to allow some warmth in.

  • Heat yourself if you're worried about the cost of energy - layer up on your clothes, use hot water bottles, blankets, and wear thick socks and slippers.
  • Eat regularly and have at least one hot meal a day with plenty of hot drinks.
  • Warm yourself up by moving around and avoid sitting for long periods of time.

Partners visit Woodland Place as 106-home development approaches completion

Last week, partners from Homes England, local councils, and other organisations visited Woodland Place to tour the 106-home development and see how the new community is coming together.
