Appointed to the role in November 2019, Tracy is passionate about the role housing associations can play within society. She is a finance director by profession, with an early career spanning the charity and commercial sectors. Tracy is a Trustee of St Mungo’s, a leading homelessness charity, and is a board member and Vice Chair for the Kent Housing Group.
Cathy McCarthyHousing Director
Appointed to the role in November 2019, Cathy is a champion of providing excellent customer focused services. She is responsible for our housing services including; customer and tenancy services, income and financial wellbeing, our older people and supported housing services. Cathy has held senior strategic and operational roles in social housing most recently at Centrepoint, the young person’s homelessness charity, Southern Housing and Origin Housing. She is the Chair of Penge Churches Housing Association.
Neil DiddamsProperty and Asset Management Director
Appointed to the role in October 2020, Neil is a strategic leader and service delivery specialist, with over 20 years’ experience in housing and the commercial sector. He is responsible for asset management, and iNHomes, our in-house gas and plumbing team. Having worked at a senior level with responsibility for significant contracts and budgets (including at Orbit, Carillion Energy Services and British Gas) he has most recently been Partnerships Director at 4i Solutions providing consultancy support to the Housing Sector (including G15 and Kent based peers).
Kate FlahertyProperty Development and Partnerships Director
Appointed to the role in December 2020, Kate is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with over 18 years’ experience in the property sector. Following consultancy roles with JLL and CBRE specialising in public and private regeneration partnerships Kate ran a new joint venture company for Morgan Sindall Investments and Slough Borough Council including the delivery and construction side of development. This led to her most recent role with Amber Infrastructure as Investment Director for a portfolio of UK companies holding long term asset and facilities management contracts as well as delivering new construction projects across the different property sectors. Kate's role is being covered by Richard Barwick while she is on maternity leave.
Richard BarwickInterim Property Development and Partnerships Director
Appointed to the role on a maternity cover basis in 2021, Richard has worked in a wide range of development roles as an interim at West Kent since 2019. He specialises in construction and retrofit management in the affordable housing sector and is a Member of the Retrofit Academy and AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building). He has worked in a wide range of management and executive roles, and is focussed on ensuring that our existing and future homes use less energy, produce lower levels of greenhouse gases, and reduce the risk of ever-increasing energy bills for current and future residents.
Anabel PalmerInterim Communities Director
Appointed to the role in October 2021, Anabel has a commitment to creating opportunities for residents and communities. She is responsible for leading the organisation’s community and involvement work, implementing our new communities and resident involvement strategies, and ensuring the voice of our residents is heard at all levels of the business. Anabel has a background in housing development, regeneration and social impact and started her career as a lawyer specialising in building litigation.
Barbara HomeStrategic Programme Director
Appointed to the role in February 2020, Barbara is a change professional who has both customers and staff at the heart of what she does. She is responsible for planning and driving delivery of our ambitious strategic plan and the HR, business performance and project management functions. Barbara brings a wealth of experience, with a background in retail operations and property services for major retailers John Lewis, Waitrose and Sainsburys. She has held senior roles leading on business change, strategic planning and programme delivery at Tui and most recently at Hyde Housing Group.
