Each committee focuses on a different area of our work and provides oversight, challenge and support to help us achieve our goals.
The Audit and Risk Committee is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of our risk management and internal controls, including internal and external audits.
The People and Appointments Committee is responsible for overseeing our People Strategy, including colleague performance, training and wellbeing. This Committee has delegated oversight of our compliance with the Competence and Conduct Standard and is also responsible for overseeing Board and Executive succession planning, recruitment and renumeration.
The Investment and Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of our financial management and investment decision-making, including new developments, stock acquisitions and investment in corporate programmes such as IT and infrastructure. This Committee has delegated oversight of our compliance with the Economic Standards.
The Communities and Housing Committee is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of our customer service deliver, including the quality and safety of our homes, how we manage our tenancies, our work with local communities to support our customers, community safety and customer engagement activities. This Committee has delegated oversight of our compliance with the Consumer Standards.
