Meet the scrutiny panel

I'm a versatile, results-driven professional with a wealth of financial expertise developed through many years experience in accounting and related fields. I am also experienced in working alongside multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. I was interested in the scrutiny panel because it gives tenants an influencing role to scrutinise the services delivered to them, and that's really important.

I am a retired Systems Integration/Production Manager in the High Tech/Engineering and Chemical Industry with many years of Technical, Business and Managing experience. In my spare time I enjoy designing electrical and electronic hard and computer software systems. By applying my experience in a meaning full and positive way I am hoping to play a part in improving West Kent Housing services.

I'm Jason, I'm a Swanley resident, but I was born and brought up in Sevenoaks. I've worked for many different individuals and organisations all over the country as a problem solving crisis manager, trying to find a way through knotty problems for service improvement. The scrutiny panel seems like an excellent opportunity to exercise whatever skills I may possess to help West Kent and its tenants to an ever improving service.

I’ve worked in various sectors throughout my life such as housing and construction, finance and auditing. I’ve been a West Kent resident for 12 years, and soon after became an involved resident. Through resident involvement, and my previous employment, l have gained a lot of skills and experience that will be beneficial to the scrutiny panel.

I have worked in the building industry for many years, working with councils and liaising with them on projects and building work. I am an involved resident within my neighbourhood and am very keen to look for improvements for all.

Hi, I’m Catherine. I have been a resident of West Kent for 37 years. I live in a small village outside of Sevenoaks. I come from a background within the health care service. I’m passionate about the rights of disabled people and how this impacts their lives. I joined the Scrutiny Panel so I could work with West Kent in achieving their goals for all of their tenants across the board.

Hi I'm Clive a resident of Swanley. I come from a health/medical background, which involved me running Patient Transport contracts for various London Hospitals. I have experience of working with contractors and dealing with KPI's. I also have an Involvement in Youth Work and volunteers through Scouting.

Hi, I’m Lynn. I’ve been living as a West Kent resident in our community for 19 years and recently joined the Scrutiny Team to give back. Before retiring, I spent many years as a teacher, and prior to that, I worked in nursing. These roles taught me the importance of listening and standing up for people's rights. As a resident living with a disability, I am deeply committed to ensuring our housing services are accessible, inclusive, and truly meet the needs of every community member. My goal is to use my professional background to provide constructive, evidence-based feedback that improves our living environment for everyone. I’m here to be a voice for my neighbours and the West Kent Housing community.
