Do you have any large, bulky items you no longer want cluttering up your house or garden? Is it difficult for you to transport large items to a local recycling centre?
We’re giving you a one-off chance to have your bulky waste taken away for free! Simply bring it along to one of the meeting points below and we’ll take it from there.
Meet us at:
- 9.30am to 11am, at Caxton Close car park (between numbers 64 and 66)
- 11.30am to 1pm, at the car park behind Wellfield Community Hall (access via Brambledown)
We can’t accept: white goods, cookers, cast iron boilers or baths, long metal poles, building materials, manure, compostable garden waste, large parts of engines or vehicles or hazardous waste. Hazardous waste now includes items like fluorescent tubes, televisions and computer monitors, batteries, oil tins and filters, paint and paint tins and chemical containers. These items must be taken to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Please don’t leave your items in the location prior to this day as we won’t take them if you are not present.
