Social Impact Report 2020

West Kent’s mission is to create in Kent a prosperous, strong and sustainable society; a place of opportunity for all; where people can plan for their futures.

Our 2020 Social Impact report is out now, which gives a flavour of our work and the impact it has had on individuals, groups and communities.

As well as the ongoing investment from West Kent, we met our 2020 target of securing over £1.3m of funding from other sources to deliver services across Kent and Medway.

Heather Brightwell, Communities Director says: "Investing in our communities was more important in 2020 than ever before, as we faced the impact of Covid. It’s been amazing to see how people in our communities came together to support each other through such a challenging time. Thanks to the ongoing support of our partners, funders and commissioners, and the commitment and creativity of our staff, we were able to adapt our work to deliver alongside them and make a difference when it mattered most."
