Meet the scrutiny panel
The scrutiny panel works collaboratively with West Kent staff to support and develop services to customers. The panel works independently to research a specific topic in depth to see if there are areas of improvement. These improvements could result in money saved, services changed or training programmes introduced. Read more about our panel members below. If you're interested in joining the panel email firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm Brian, 42 year old dad to 3 children. I wanted to get involved with the scrutiny group as I want others to be aware that residents are able to help shape services at West Kent. It's really positive that residents are able to ask questions about an area of interest and be able to bring together information to ensure that everyone gets the best outcome.
I'm Jason, I'm a Swanley resident, but I was born and brought up in Sevenoaks. I've worked for many different individuals and organisations all over the country as a problem solving crisis manager, trying to find a way through knotty problems for service improvement. The scrutiny panel seems like an excellent opportunity to exercise whatever skills I may possess to help West Kent and its tenants to an ever improving service.
I’m a happily married wife and a mother to three children. I am truly honoured to be part of West Kent Housing Association's scrutiny panel. My aim is to be fair and balanced, whilst striving to improve services for all tenants.
I'm a versatile, results-driven professional with a wealth of financial expertise developed through many years experience in accounting and related fields. I am also experienced in working alongside multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. I was interested in the scrutiny panel because it gives tenants an influencing role to scrutinise the services delivered to them, and that's really important.
I’ve worked in various sectors throughout my life such as housing and construction, finance and auditing. I’ve been a West Kent resident for 10 years, and soon after became an involved resident. Through resident involvement, and my previous employment, l have gained a lot of skills and experience that will be beneficial to the scrutiny panel.
