Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a development manager to join our small but ambitious development team, with responsibility for securing new business and running complex Section 106s and land-led deals. West Kent’s development programme is increasing and we aim to develop 200 homes a year. You’ll be project managing developments from the initial landowner negotiation stage, through planning to handover.
With a small busy team comes great variety. That also means this is a great career move for somebody wanting to broaden their experience as you will be involved in new business and project delivery, often on the same day!
The roles offer a chance to manage your own work programme. You’ll have support from your managers and line management responsibility but the onus to deliver will be on you.
We are looking for people with at least three years’ experience in a development or property environment, experience in a housing association will be an advantage.
