Edenbridge Youth Forum

The Forum was set up when Youth Extra members applied for and received £5,000 from KCC Youth and Opportunities Fund in April 2007.  Meeting fortnightly at the Edenbridge Centre, the forum organises activities for the benefit of other local young people and to give young people a voice and make sure their views are heard.

The Youth Forum took young people to the annual Midnight Ice Skate at Gillingham, ‘Fright Nights’ at Thorpe Park (twice!!) and held a leadership skills residential training course at Bewl Bridge Outdoor Education Centre.

Young people are consulted about activities and their aspirations for the area and have researched and prepared a report on the condition of play areas in Edenbridge.
