West Kent is part of the Sevenoaks District Housing Register.   Other housing associations in the Sevenoaks District who are also part of the register are Moat Housing Association, Orbit Housing Association, North British Housing Association and Rockdale Housing Association.

If you are interested in living in one of our homes, you must meet our qualification criteria and apply via the register. 

Demand for social housing is extremely high and we are not always able to make an offer of housing to those who apply to the register.   In the event that you do not meet our qualification criteria, there are other ways in which you can find somewhere to live.   Options include private renting or you may have sufficient income to be able to buy or part buy and rent the remainder of your home.   Your local Council may be able to assist you with securing a deposit to be able to privately rent a home.   Many estate agents have homes available to let (rent), please see your local paper for details or contact the Association of Residential Lettings (ARLA).

If you are already a tenant and you wish to move to another property or area you may like to consider doing an mutual exchange with another tenant in order to be able to move more quickly than if you apply to the housing register.   Please discuss this with your housing officer.If you would like to join the register, then please contact the Housing Options Team on 01732 749433 or by email to housing.options@wkha.org.uk so that we can arrange an appointment to carry out an assessment of your housing needs with you.
