West Kent Awarded Gold!
Investors in People (IiP) is the UK’s leading people management standard. it provides a simple and flexible framework helping thousands of organisations of all sizes and sectors to improve their business performance, by improving the way in which they manage and develop their people, leading to business improvement and better public services.
West Kent was first recognised as an Investor in People in 1994. There have been re-assessments in 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006 and in October 2009 we were successful in being re-accredited and achieved Gold status, the first Gold award to be made in Kent.
The assessor said: “There is a significant focus on people in West Kent in respect of both its workforce and its client base. Quality and service are at the forefront of the West Kent strategies and this focus is encapsulated in the mission to provide the best housing and services."
