" have fun and meet new people "
Support groups
Our team recognises that many vulnerable people can feel isolated and find it difficult to socialise. In addition to locally available services, our Community Support Officers run support groups to help our service users get out, have fun and meet new people. For information about all of the groups please contact the Lifeways Team on 01732 749400 or email lifeways@wkha.org.uk or simply come along, you'll be very welcome!
Time Out

Held in Seal Church Hall near Sevenoaks every Friday from 10am to 12noon. This group is specifically for people who have a history of poor mental health. Tea/coffee, cakes and biscuits are available while you chat, have a game of darts, pool or scrabble. Support workers are on hand to offer help and advice on any problems you may be having such as filling in forms or talking through issues. A donation of just 50p is asked for, so why not come along and join us.
Held the first Monday of every month from 2 - 4pm at The Drive Methodist Church in Sevenoaks. PAWS is an Arts and Crafts group for those who are keen to express themselves in a creative way. Come along and join us - you can bring your own equipment or use ours. We keep a stock of paint, paper, pens, glitter, glue and much more. Drinks and biscuits are provided - we ask for a contribution of £1 to help run the group.
Solutionz runs on Wednesdays from 3 - 5pm at The Junction Swanley Youth and Community Centre, St Mary's Road, Swanley.
The group provides a drop-in centre for the people of Swanley specifically targeting the 16 - 35 age group. Susan and Michelle are on hand to offer housing related support on the following topics:
- Understanding your tenancy or occupancy agreement
- Managing debt, budgeting and benefits advice
- Getting on with your neighbours
- Life and social skills
- Setting up home
- Staying safe at home
- Dealing with other agencies
- Taking up training, education and employment.
The group is informal and everyone is welcome to come along and have a chat, meet new people or have a cup of tea. We ask for £1 to help cover the cost of running the group.
