Emerald is our accommodation and support service for older people.
Our vision is to deliver modern services to people over the age of 55 to help them live independent lives.
Emerald aims to ensure that access to quality housing, choice and flexible services means that age is a positive experience.
In April 2010 we re-branded and launched our new service ‘Emerald.’ Our resident’s forum group chose the name Emerald as it is the gemstone for the 55 year wedding anniversary.
Our residents tell us how they want to live. They say that:
- They want access to a menu of support for individual needs
- Social activities are important
- Technology should be used to improve their lifestyle
- Security is vital to ensure a contented life.
We celebrate and support active ageing in our communities by providing a wide range of activities and healthy living programmes.
