What is a PDF?
Many downloadable documents available within this site are in Portable Document Format (often referred to as a PDF). A standard adopted by governments and organisations worldwide. PDF is a reliable format for electronic document exchange that preserves document integrity so files can be viewed and printed on a variety of platforms. We have chosen to make many of our downloadable documents in this file format for data security and integrity reasons.
How can I open and view a PDF document?
To view a PDF document you need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader free of charge, directly from Adobe. You can do this by clicking on the icon below or by following the link in the related websites box .

Printer friendly
Throughout the site at the top of each page is a ‘Print this page’ option with a printer icon, this allows you to print a web page without the left hand menu.
Text only
There is also a text only option on the website. This is located in the menu bar that runs along the top of each web page. This will remove all images from the website, and present the information purely as text, the size of which can be increased or decreased as necessary. The site can be navigated by using the blue link text. To revert back to the normal mode from text mode click on the words ‘View graphic version’ towards the top left hand corner of the screen.
