Fun Days

What is a Fun Day?

We offer exciting activities from sports and games to arts and crafts, as well as special workshops like drama and circus skills – all for free!

Since 2008 we have had over 3,700 attendances from children and young people. As well as our ever popular Fun Days, we are working with other organisations on a wider summer programme so there really is something for everyone! See below for more details.

Who are the Fun Days for?

Children and young people aged 8 -15 years can be signed in and left with our team.

Parents must sign in all children and young people. We have special workshops for teenagers this summer, thanks to Kent Youth Service.

Please note: Younger brothers and sisters are very welcome to join in, but parents must stay and play too! Please be aware that not all activities may be suitable for little ones.

When and Where?

West Kent Extra is delivering 10 different Fun Days, including two in Medway for the very first time. We are also running a Boomerang Short Break for disabled children in Swanley. Thanks to Sevenoaks District Council for the funding for our days.

Other activities this summer

We are working with a range of organisations including Kent Youth Service, Play Place, the HAWK Project, VSU and town and parish councils to make sure there are activities for all ages happening across the Sevenoaks District in particular. This includes four trips for young people to go ice-skating, climbing, paintballing and more for just £10 each! For more details please see the attached Summer Programme 2011.
