Adults - get involved

West Kent Extra runs a range of exciting clubs, events and other activities for adults of all ages.

We hold community events as well as specific clubs and sessions for the over 55s.

• Recently we ran an eleven week cookery programme with West Kent College in Edenbridge, which was designed as an easy access into adult learning opportunities.
• We also organise seasonal activities each year such as summer trips and Christmas entertainment for Emerald residents in the Sevenoaks District and Lifeways clients in the Medway area.

West Kent Extra’s Active Lifestyles

in 2009 Kent County Council gave us a grant to get the over 55s involved in more activities – The Active Lifestyles programme aims to keep residents active, creative, independent and engaged.

Do you want to get involved?

We work with local people to deliver these activities and are always keen to find new volunteers for our projects - anything from organising talent shows to working with young people.
