The role of the Board of Management of West Kent Extra is to provide strategic direction, ensure accountability, engage stakeholders and to support and advise management.

The Board is committed to high standards of corporate governance and in November 2006 agreed a revised Code of Governance and action plan following a comprehensive review.

The Board members are:

  • Mark Whyman (Chairman, Independent)
  • Andy Smith (Local Resident)
  • Lesley Bowles (Independent)
  • Frank Czarnowski (West Kent)
  • Deborah White (West Kent)
  • Audrey Batchelor (AWKTR Representative)
  • Will Campbell-Wroe (West Kent)

The day-to-day operation of West Kent Extra is organised by the Managing Director and the West Kent Extra team of staff.

West Kent Extra is a subsidiary of West Kent Housing Association and a charity registered with the Charity Commission (1104621).
