About West Kent Extra

We are West Kent’s community development charity. We work in the areas where West Kent has homes to deliver projects, activities, resident and community development and involvement.

We create strong neighbourhoods by listening to local people and delivering activities that make a difference to our communities.

Based in Sevenoaks, our team of dedicated people - staff, volunteers and residents - work hard to create opportunities and projects that will help our residents to help themselves, their communities and the environment.

What do we do?

The list is long, but we run events, outings, training courses, resident involvement, social enterprise projects, the Abacus Furniture project, work experience programmes, summer activities for children, youth work, community development, funding for individuals and groups, workshops, tenants' days, volunteering projects and more!
