Abacus is a registered charity recycling unwanted, pre-used furniture and household items, preventing them from going into landfill and selling them on at low cost to families and people in need. Our aim is to help those on low income to furnish their homes without incurring debt.

We’re launching our ‘Vintage’ brand. Vintage and retro furniture is in demand – come along to the store or place a ‘FindMe’ enquiry with our sales team - we’ll do our best to source items for you.

Do you have an old piece of furniture you need restored?

Call Herbie! Our highly skilled master carpenter is a true craftsperson who creates new pieces, and restores old furniture to its original glory.

Soft furnishings

All our soft furnishings comply with current fire regulations and all our electrical goods are safety tested before they reach our warehouse
